Important observations:
Copper is highly toxic. Prehistorically when people did not know that they died from eating food cooked in copper pans and pots. This is why all copper pans and pots today are required to be lined with stainless steel or tin. I do not recommend buying copper pans and pots for that reason, but they do look beautiful although IMO toxic materials should not be used in a kitchen. Avoid drying the copper on your pots and pans with the kitchen towel as this is a way to transfer toxic copper particles to your other stuff that you eat from or with.
